Kochi's corporate and IT sector — the Infopark and SmartCity tenant base at Kakkanad, and the professional services firms around them — runs a high proportion of meetings with remote participants, often across time zones.
Most Kochi meeting rooms handle that badly. A laptop on the table picks up whoever sits nearest and loses everyone else, so remote participants spend the call asking people to repeat themselves. That is a microphone coverage problem, and it is solved by designing for the room rather than adding a better laptop.
Camera framing is the second half of the Kakkanad hybrid-room problem. A fixed webcam at one end of a long table renders the far end unreadable. Rooms that work use cameras that frame the speaking participant, and that choice depends on table shape and room length — which is why the survey precedes the recommendation.

Kochi's larger institutions and corporate campuses run training rooms and auditoriums where the requirement shifts from conversation to presentation: even audio coverage, displays readable from the back, and controls a visiting presenter can operate without briefing.
These Ernakulam and Kakkanad rooms are frequently used by people who did not commission them. If starting a session requires knowing which of three inputs is live, the room generates a support call every time it is booked. One-touch operation is what makes an expensive room actually used.

Where Kochi's Rooms Are
Business parks, campuses and hotels
AV demand in Kochi concentrates in three places. Corporate meeting and training rooms cluster around Kakkanad — Infopark, SmartCity and the business parks beside them. Institutional auditoriums sit with the colleges and campuses across Ernakulam and out towards Aluva.
The third is hospitality. Kochi's hotel and convention trade runs banquet and conference spaces at Willingdon Island, around Fort Kochi and along the Edappally corridor, and those rooms are handed to visiting operators who have never seen the system before.
Each group needs a different control design. A Kakkanad meeting room is used by the same twenty people every week and can carry a little complexity; a Fort Kochi convention space meets a new operator every event and cannot.

AV is survey-and-install work, so we attend Kochi for the room survey, the installation and the handover session with the people who will use the room. Support afterwards is remote where possible, with scheduled visits for calibration and servicing.
We do not have a Kochi office, and we are not going to imply one. Our base is at Peringathur in Kannur and we travel for on-site work. If a competitor down the road can be at your building in twenty minutes and that is what the job needs, they may be the better choice — we would rather say so than win the work and disappoint you.

We configure rooms for Teams and Zoom including cameras, microphones, displays and one-touch join, and we confirm current platform compatibility at survey stage. Certification requirements change, so hardware that was certified for last year's release is not automatically right for the current one.
Remote participants cannot hear our far end. What fixes that?+
Microphone coverage designed for the room rather than a better laptop. A single device picks up whoever is nearest; a room with a long table needs distributed or ceiling microphones. It is the most common Kochi complaint we are called about and it is a design fix, not a product upgrade.
Do you work in Infopark and SmartCity offices?+
Yes. Shared buildings have rules about ceiling access, drilling and cable routing through common areas, which affects what can be installed and how. We establish those constraints with building management at survey rather than on installation day.
How do you handle support if you are based in Kannur?+
Configuration and most faults are handled remotely. Calibration, servicing and physical faults are scheduled visits. For a room supporting a critical event, we would recommend scheduling a check beforehand rather than relying on a same-day response — that is honest advice, not a limitation we are hiding.
Can a non-technical person start a meeting?+
That is the design goal, and we test it with the people who will actually use the room rather than only with the installer. A room that needs two remotes and three input selections is a room people avoid booking.
Do you cover Kakkanad, Infopark and the Ernakulam campuses?+
Yes — corporate rooms around Kakkanad and Infopark, institutional auditoriums across Ernakulam and out towards Aluva, and hospitality spaces at Willingdon Island and Fort Kochi. Each is surveyed individually because a business-park meeting room and a Fort Kochi banquet hall need entirely different control designs.
